PTW, the leading outsourced services provider to the international games, software and interactive entertainment industries, announces the appointment of games industry localization veteran Loreto Sanz Fueyo to the position of Director of Global Translation Services.

Sanz Fueyo will be based out of PTW’s European HQ at Vantage London in West London. She will drive new technological, operational and commercial objectives for the company’s language services clients in Europe. Sanz Fueyo will also oversee global translation teams providing a range of linguistic services to clients worldwide in over 30 languages, including PTW’s text and audio localization teams located throughout its Asia studio footprint in Singapore, Malaysia, China, Korea, Taiwan and Japan.

With 25 years of continued growth and success as a leading localization, quality assurance, customer experience, audio production and engineering services provider to games, interactive media and digital entertainment industries, including a rich Asian heritage beginning as Japan’s first outsourced quality assurance provider to the local games industry, PTW’s services today meet global customer requirements on a truly global scale. Sanz Fueyo joins PTW from Jonckers, a translation and localization provider headquartered in Belgium. There, she founded The Loc Lab, an experimental division of Jonckers set up to meet very specific and highly technical customer requirements. Prior to her time in Belgium, Sanz Fueyo spent 10 years in the games and interactive entertainment media industry with Universally Speaking, rising through the ranks to Director from roles including In-House Spanish Translator, Localisation Project Manager and Localisation Manager.
