Over the years, it’s been fascinating to watch the games industry take shape and grow. Where once game studios were centered in Japan and the United States, they now stretch across the world, with new hotspots opening all the time. Being at the forefront of development, PTW early on saw the need for a Player Support studio in Romania, and it’s since grown to add more services like Quality Assurance and LQA.  

Having such humble beginnings, PTW Bucharest is now home to over 100 employees with plans to double in size over the next year. It’s perfectly poised as an in-time zone solution for European clients including some of the biggest development and publishing studios in the world.  

Let’s meet a few of its key staff members and learn what drives them to succeed:  

Mirela Burcea joined us in September 2022 and currently leads the Bucharest team as Studio Head. Her passion and priority are for her fellow employees. She strives to create an open and collaborative environment where everyone’s input is welcome, which engenders great team dynamics and chemistry between staff members.  

Andre Rodrigues is PTW Bucharest’s Player Support Operations Manager, acting as the conduit between players and developers. He loves getting to work on a wide variety of projects from different clients and building healthy relationships between PTW and the developers and publishers with whom we work. 

Dan Andrei Pop, QA Team Lead, is engaged by the creative problem solving he gets to accomplish with his team, working in a fun studio environment where everyone is passionate about video games. PTW Bucharest’s in-time zone delivery assures clients their milestones and deadlines will always be met with superlative work.
