Pole To Win India has partnered up with non-profit organization The Akshaya Patra Foundation to support their work with children in the Bangalore area. The Akshaya Patra Foundation do magnificent work by striving to eliminate classroom hunger through implementation of the Mid-Day Meal Programme in government schools and government-aided schools, as well as countering malnutrition, and supporting socio-economically disadvantaged children in their right to education.

PTW is delighted to support the Mid-Day Meal Programme by providing meals to government-aided schools in Bangalore in 2018. This initiative will support 571 school children across three different schools.

As part of the initiative, PTW recently visited GHPS A Narayanpura School. A team of 30 volunteers spent time with the schoolchildren conducting fun and educational activities and distributing school stationery. Our volunteers had as much fun as the children and were delighted to see how PTW’s support can really make a difference.
